Air Travel and transportation to the hotel
All leading domestic air carriers serve San Antonio International Airport. Many offer nonstop service from cities such as San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis and Nashville.

Upon arrival in San Antonio, convenient and economical van service is available at the airport for the short ride to the Holiday Inn Select.

SATRANS is the airport shuttle service. It is available from 7 a.m. to midnight daily. Tickets are available for purchase directly outside baggage claim. Ticket cost is approximately $10. Reservations: (800) 868-7707.

Taxi cabs are available at the lower level curbside, outside of baggage claim, at Terminal 1 and at the front curbside of Terminal 2 just outside baggage claim. For assistance, please contact the Airport Ground Transportation Agent wearing an airport badge. Fare to San Antonio downtown areas are approximately $18 to $20 (U.S.) per taxicab. (Up to 4 may share a cab.)

Taxicabs are metered based on $1.70 initial drop fee during daytime hours (5 a.m.-9 p.m.); $2.80 during nighttime hours (9 p.m.-5 a.m.) plus $1.80 each mile . Time to downtown business district is approximately 15 minutes, average fare $20-$22, plus tip. Minimum airport departure fee is $8.50. There is no extra charge for additional passengers. Up to 4 may share a cab. Large minivans are also available and can transport up to seven passengers. Rates are subject to change.
